    As the trend in furniture making turned to mass production, Carl Kisabeth chose to adhere to the time-proven methods of creating the finest hand-crafted upholstered furniture.  After 43 years of experience in all phases of quality furniture production, Carl Kisabeth began Kisabeth Furniture to preserve the skill of hand-crafted furniture making.  Also, he wanted to provide designers and architects with a source of quality custom furniture that would give them unlimited creative freedom, rather than adapting their designs to fit the furniture. Now with almost 50 years of experience we still hold to Mr. Kisabeth's commitment to excellence.

    A piece of furniture may look beautiful when new, but because of inferior construction materials and methods, the original straight lines, distinctly sharp tailoring, or luxurious soft lines may not endure.  This can diminish the effect of even the most well designed room.  Kisabeth craftsmen know that there are no short cuts in the production of pieces that meet the exacting standards laid forth by centuries of the finest furniture makers and the engineering technology of today.  

    That's why from frame to upholstery...from materials choice to production methods...immaculate care is taken.  After all is said and done, Kisabeth reputation rests with satisfied designers whose reputation in turn, rests with their own creativity, complemented by the choice of suppliers.

RESIDENTIAL Furniture

    Modifications are always an option on any piece of Kisabeth furniture. Increasing or decreasing the seat height, overall depth, overall width, etc. are no problem for us because every order is started in house in our own mill.  All Kisabeth Furniture is BUILT TO ORDER , making cosmetic changes such as skirt detail, as well as structural modifications, readily available. Almost every Kisabeth sofa can come as a sleeper, or a sectional in any configuration. Sofas are also available in any length, specified to the inch if desired.

    Our residential line includes a versatile six - fill option for cushions. This enables the designer to really meet the needs of the client, right down to how the piece of furniture will be used. The right fill is important to consider so that the piece will perform exactly as the client intends.

    From traditional to transitional to contemporary, and everything in between, Kisabeth possesses the ability to not only build furniture, but to CREATE it!!

    Kisabeth Furniture is above all built to last. Our styles are designed and engineered especially for use in public areas. Hospitality seating, hospital lounge and room seating, hospital wardrobe cabinets, bank and corporate seating, municipal, university and library seating, Kisabeth can do it all. As a custom manufacturer, once again our priorities lie with how exactly each piece of furniture will be used. We take pride in our belief that beyond producing the finest built to order furniture anywhere, Kisabeth is really here to help designers, specifies, and architects problem solve. As is true of our residential line, our contract furniture can be modified and altered to accommodate any special needs maintained by our clients. We are here to help you achieve the best possible solution to any public space seating. Completely custom contract furniture is available, we ask only that the quantity be twelve or more for custom jobs.
